They plan and evaluate work to ensure that students make steady progress. Esteem Tutors ensures that its teachers have a degree qualification and teaching experience. Many of our tutors have a teaching qualification or are existing teachers. We have a variety of associate tutors; some cover primary school, while others cover secondary. We call our tutors ‘associate tutors’, as we believe we are all a team and work together as such. We pride ourselves on working as a team. We do not just have names on a list; all tutors are fully CRB checked and full references are taken up.

Tutoring sessions may be scheduled at home, after school facilities, libraries or community centres. If the young person is under 18, a responsible carer/parent has to be on site with the tutor.
